Hey there, I'm Tessa! My first passion is hair and makeup, but I found my way to backpacking through a need for more outdoor exercise in Asheville. 

The town's short walkways weren't cutting it for me, so I turned to Google to search for trails and discovered the world of maps and eventually, All Trails.

As I started exploring new and exciting trails, my curiosity about safety precautions and essentials in a day pack grew, leading me to dive headfirst into the world of backpacking. I became completely obsessed, to be honest.

My first trip to Panther town Valley was a bit creepy, but that just added to the adventure. Thats a story for a later time. 

I started logging miles and found so much joy in the experience. I'm thrilled to be able to share my adventures and look forward to many more in the future. Let's keep exploring!
